We have been launching a quick and easy method to apply for Anglo American vacancies utilizing an SMS. Now you can register once on this e-recruitment database by clicking on this hyperlink.
Please note that this functionality is just available in South Africa.
How can i register?
For those who have applied for a position using our
own online facility previously, you have recently been placed on our register. Once you are registered around, you will be able to deliver your application for job opportunities by delivering just one SMS.
To see if you are registered, SMS the actual letters ACT to 35641. You will get an SMS response telling you in case you are already registered. Otherwise, you can follow the process beneath:
Go to www.angloamerican.co.za and choose “Careers”, go to “Working with regard to us”, select “Current Vacancies”.
Enter “699085”in the “Keyword” field.
Choose “Search” then “SMS Registration Campaign” after which “Apply”.
Complete the Online Sign up Form.
This SMS is cost free. An SMS confirming you have been successfully registered will be delivered to you as soon as your registration continues to be processed.
Once registered, whenever a future job opportunity arises that you wish to apply, you simply need to SMS the job client name to 35641. Your application is going to be submitted and you will receive confirmation through SMS.
Please note you will be charged R3. 00 for each SMS by your service provider for each TEXT that you send when using the SMS work registration and application facility.
